Apartment Review for The Breakers - Daytona Beach, FL

I wish some would have told me about this place, or I would have looked them up. I hate this place and I can’t wait until my lease is up. Actually I wish I could break it with out penalty. But they fixed that too. It states in the lease that under no circumstance may someone be let out of there lease, except for military deployment and death. I should have known some thing was up when I read that. I have complained about the loud noise from my neighbor to the office many times and nothing has been done. Also they are poorly made. You can hear everything from out side and other surrounding complexes. I mean don’t get me wrong the view is nice everything but that is not where it counts. Peace of mind is where it counts, and you don’t get that when you live here. Here are some more crazy things that The Breakers those. The cable outlet for the living room is under the bar by the kitchen, and you can’t have the cable company place another hole else where because there is no room to reach across the apartment. What those that mean? Well I’ll tell you. You either have to drape the cable over and attach it to the wall all the way across the living room or around the perimeter of the apartment. Which look real ugly and ghetto! Also your rent changes depending on how much water you use. Yes I said it you have to pay for water. But here is the kicker, you don’t pay for what you use. This is how the bill you. They get a bill for every one in the complex and divide it by the number of apartment in the complex and that is what you pay. You don’t pay what you actually use so if neighbor X leaves the water running all day then that month the water bill will be high. Wow I couldn’t believe that either, but that is how they bill you. Oh and you see gates right? Well they only work about on week out of the month if you are lucky. They say state of the art fitness center, try cramped room with equipment in it. All I’m saying is if you like noise and uncaring management staff then this is the place for you.
